As the 2017 Social and Emotional Innovation Award recipient and my work on empowering young people to live meaningful lives through self-actualization, I was invited by Joe Anderson, a Senior Consultant of Education First, to be one of the plenary speakers at their annual convening in New Mexico.
My talk that day provided over 200 educators from across the country with the knowledge and skills to empower our youth to become more of themselves and use what they possess to serve something greater than themselves.
